You guys know how much I love using Oriental Trading goodies in my parties, and you know that I'm obsessed with the new Cricut Maker, right?

Well, this blog hop happens to be sponsored by both of those phenomenal, generous companies, and guess what?

They're giving away a Cricut Maker ($399.99 value) AND a $75 Oriental Trading gift card to one of YOU!!!

Wowza, right?!!! That's one heck of a prize package!  Find full details on how to enter at the bottom of this post, but first, take a look at this Bat Halloween Party to see how I used the Maker and goodies from Oriental Trading to create a spooktacular celebration!

Bat Halloween Party Ideas

The stars of the show were our little bats that were "hanging out" all over the party area.

They were fashioned after the little critters in our "Let's Hang Out" Halloween Bat Invitations.

Mel of Say Anything Bakery did a tremendous job of transforming these guys into cookie form, didn't she?  Seriously amazing!!!

To showcase the cookies, I strung them from branches with fishing line. To create a woodsy Halloween scene, I used my Maker to cut a paper moon and fleece cloud shapes.  (Did you know that the Maker has a rotary blade and can cut over 100 types of fabric)?!!  I spritzed the cloud shapes with a little bit of black spray paint for a "moody" vibe.
To dress up the branches and mimic the invitation, I cut crepe paper flower petals with the Maker (yep, it can cut delicate things like crepe paper, too), then wrapped the petals around mini LED lights from Oriental Trading. They gave off a really cool glow!

Cricut has printable vinyl, which is the coolest thing EVER!  I printed my little bat friends onto the vinyl, then used the "Print then Cut" feature on the Maker to precisely cut them out in minutes.  The vinyl peels off of the backing like a sticker, so I adhered the bats to black pillow boxes from Oriental Trading.

I lined the pillow boxes up like a bunting along the front of our party display, and I just love how they turned out!!!

For a super easy and festive Halloween snack, I mixed together popcorn, candy corn, and mini Oreos, and served them in black and white striped popcorn boxes from Oriental Trading.

To tie them into our theme, I used gold adhesive foil and glitter cardstock from Cricut to add some bats and a moon to each box.  They were so cute, and looked sooooo good on the watercolor table runner that I scored from Wolf and Irving.  Don't you just love it?!!

To round out our treats table we had more incredible cookies from Say Anything Bakery, Halloween candy, and the most beautiful gold-enhanced faux ombré cake from Confection Deception.

Isn't the cake just stunning?!!

I found a recipe for marbled bark in Food Network magazine and used our party colors to create a look that would match our theme.

A few gumballs, licorice candies, and sprinkles surrounding the bark made the perfect party topper!
