Hey there, and welcome to part two of our County Fair Birthday Party!  If you missed part one, you missed some pretty good stuff, so you're gonna wanna check that out here.

In our last post we talked about vintage decor and old-fashioned party games, so today we're roundin' out the fun with party food and favor ideas...the good stuff, if ya ask me.  :)

I really wanted our party to have a small-town County Fair vibe, so we set up our food station like a farmer's market.

We served all kinds of fresh fruits and veggies, homemade sweet breads and cookies, finger sandwiches with locally made jam, and of course classic fair food like popcorn and corn dogs.

I created a collection of County Fair Printables to give everything a cohesive look. The colorful bunting hanging in the background, as well as the water bottle labels and food tent labels are included in the collection.

The County Fair Printables are available in my Etsy Shop here.

I wanted fresh-squeezed lemonade for the kids, but instead of just sitting it out in cups, I wanted a stand where they could serve themselves.

My handy hubby came to the rescue and built this lemonade stand for me, and the kids loved it! Just look at those little faces!

In lieu of traditional birthday cake, we went with fresh berry shortcake.  How delicious and fresh does that look?  And I love the imperfect edges...I think it gives the cake a rustic feel that fits right into our party vibe!

Ice cream was served in mini mason jars, which was perfect...no scooping required during the party, and everyone got their own serving in the flavor that they wanted.

The mason jars were labeled with printable ice cream labels (included in the County Fair Printable Collection) to differentiate the flavors, and we served it all in my Grandma's old galvanized tub filled with ice.  It was a hit!

County Fair Party Favors

Our favor station was a lot of fun, and had such a nostalgic feel!

The kiddos cashed in vintage tickets to fill their own favor boxes with all kinds of homemade goodies.  Watching them "shop" was really a cool thing!  :)
